Ravens vs 49ers Preview and Analysis
Why the Ravens will win
Baltimore has put together an amazing season and we can expect them to continue their success in this match. The Ravens are in the front of the most competitive division in football in the AFC North, with no losing teams in this division. This team wins football games and still finds itself as a dark horse team to bring home the Lombardi trophy. Lamar Jackson excels at extending plays and keeping his offense in an efficient mode. The Ravens don't have huge playmakers outside of their QB Lamar but Zay Flowers has emerged as a reliable option in recent weeks. On the defensive side of the ball, the Ravens have stepped up when it matters. They have given a lot of points this year but they are still respected as a top defensive squad and will be playing typical AFC North football in this Christmas showdown.
Why the 49ers will win
San Fran has established themselves as the football team that no one wants to play even during a regular season game. This squad dismantled the Eagles and destroyed the Cowboys, they are a very physical team on both sides of the ball that wears down opponents. The Defense holds teams to under 20 points a game while the offense can easily go for 40. This squad has more talent than anyone else and is filled with Pro bowlers Vets that are hungry for success. Christian McCaffrey is the motor that keeps this offense rolling, when he is healthy this team is essentially unstoppable. B Aiyuk has put together a great year receiving and is complimented by other amazing talent to let him succeed. Brock Purdy is also having a career year and has shown an MVP season going late into this NFL year, you can bet the 49ers are extra motivated to take down yet another top team and secure themselves home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Both these teams are great no doubt but we can only have one winner in this match. The 49ers seem like the unstoppable force and the Ravens come off as a bit overlooked on how dominant they have been this season. The Ravens are quirky and do very well vs out of division opponents, However, we will go with the home team in this matchup.
Pick: San Fran 49ers
